GLASTONBURY, CT – Trio Properties, LLC has been named by the Connecticut Apartment Association (CTAA) as the winner of the 2021 Nutmeg Award for Property Management Company of the Year and Property Manager, Bethanie Giardina, based at Knoll Crest Apartments in Middletown, has been named Office Professional of the Year. Both honors were awarded on December 9, 2021, during the 2021 CTAA Annual Nutmeg Awards and Holiday Gala held at Foxwoods Casino.
The CTAA Property Management Company of the Year Award recognizes a company that has demonstrated outstanding service to the multifamily industry within Connecticut, made extraordinary achievements in financial oversight and leadership, continues to stay ahead of the competition with marketing, leasing, and maintenance efforts, and finally, a company that makes a positive impact on their local communities through philanthropy and corporate social programming. This is the sixth time in eight years that Trio was honored with CTAA’s top award.
Neil Duncan, CFO and Partner at Twining Properties, and a current client of Trio’s writes, “Many managers view their role as solely administering revenue and expenses, resolving complaints and fixing problems. These awards follow two recent honors from within the industry and on a more local level, recognizing Trio’s corporate culture. In June, Trio Properties, LLC was awarded one of the Top Places to Work for small management firms by the National Apartment Association and this past September, Trio was awarded the Top Place to Work in Hartford County by the Hartford Courant. Both awards focused on Trio’s commitment to their employees and gauged overall employee satisfaction through surveys.
Trio Properties currently provides property management services in Connecticut, New York, and Florida with over 3400 residential units and over 200,000 square feet of office and retail space in their current portfolio. Trio’s 30-year expertise spans the continental US with more than 200,000 units managed in over 17 states. Trio successfully oversees stabilized assets, repositioning plans, lease-ups, and provides consultation and management services for new development construction of multifamily assets. Trio has two locations, with corporate headquarters located in Glastonbury, CT, and a southeast office located in West Palm Beach, FL.
